Hey ladies in my summer program! I’m so happy you stayed on with me in the Content Club, it’s a joy to have you. I’ve shared some new lessons in our Teachable classroom - this is a snippet of one of them, so please read the entire lesson in class.
Sometimes it seems like you have to do everything to succeed online... post daily, grow a list, launch products, show up on video, write newsletters, have a YouTube, collaborate, optimize, analyze... it’s easy to forget a simple truth:
Not everything you do matters equally.
That’s where the 80/20 Rule comes in.
I first learned about this last week from my close friend in London, Sania Pell, and she suggested that I buy a book she recently read called "The 80/20 Principle" by author Richard Koch.
I'm a sucker for a new book about business, and productivity hacks, so I bought it the next day.
The moment it arrived, my husband saw it and said, "Oh the 80/20 rule, that's from the software engineering world".
